Responsibilities
Operate Powered Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to support daily warehouse operations
Follow all safety procedures, including equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and compliance with training standards
Accurately scan and track incoming and outgoing shipments
Receive and verify new inventory, ensuring alignment with manifest documentation
Inspect all received goods for damage, defects, or missing items
Maintain accurate stock records through scanning and manual inventory counts
Label products and storage areas for efficient organization and retrieval
Pick, prepare, package, and label outbound shipments with precision
Verify accuracy of all outgoing orders before dispatch
Load and unload trailers or containers using MHE or manual handling
Maintain cleanliness and organization across all warehouse zones
Keep equipment and tools clean, properly stored, and in working condition
Immediately report any equipment issues or malfunctions to supervisors
Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and warehouse protocols
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily performance and quality targets
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall distribution center goals
Qualifications
1-2+ years of hands-on experience operating Powered Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including Order Picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Clamp Truck, Walkie Rider, and Forklift; valid certifications are a strong asset
Proven ability to lift and handle loads up to 50 lbs repetitively in a fast-paced distribution environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and safety standards
Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy, quality control, and damage prevention
Capable of following precise verbal and written instructions, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently
Proficient in basic reading, writing, and communication skills in English to follow documentation and communicate effectively with team members
Legally eligible to work in Canada
