Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and safety-conscious Forklift Operator & General Labourer to join our team. This dual-role position is approximately 70% indoors and 30% outdoors. You will be responsible for operating counterbalance forklifts to manage inventory, alongside performing essential general labour and warehouse maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
Forklift Operations (Approx. 75% of Role):
Safely operate 6,000 lb. and 7,000 lb. counterbalance forklifts.
Unload 20-foot ocean containers within the indoor warehouse.
Efficiently inventory, organize, and stack crated and palletized stone.
Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipping.
Load outdoor flatbeds and indoor van trailers utilizing three operational docks with automatic dock plates.
General Labour & Warehouse Support (Approx. 25% of Role):
Heavy lifting required (must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly).
Perform crate and pallet remediation (repalletizing, fixing crates/pallets using drills and screws).
Assemble product display frames.
Maintain facility cleanliness (sweeping, managing garbage, and general property upkeep).
Assist with seasonal maintenance, including clearing snow around building doorways and walkways during winter.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
Experience: Proven experience safely operating counterbalance forklifts in a busy warehouse/yard environment with a valid external forklift license for counterbalance.
Safety First: A strong commitment to Occupational Health & Safety (H&S) standards and safe driving practices.
Soft Skills: Must be a self-starter who can work independently and maintain organization.
Communication: Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to review orders and communicate with the team.
Background Check: A clear criminal background check is required prior to employment.
