Responsibilities
Operate a Crown reach truck and counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Perform precise order picking and packing duties according to customer specifications and company standards.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers, ensuring proper handling and securing of products.
Prepare products for shipment by palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling them correctly.
Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks on all forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues or concerns immediately.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and documenting material movements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company policies and safety regulations.
Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned to support the team and overall operational goals within the Manufacturing & Logistics department.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid and current external Forklift Operator Certification (Crown Reach and Counterbalance).
A minimum of one to three years of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
At least one year of proven, hands-on experience operating a Crown reach truck is mandatory.
Demonstrated experience with order picking, packaging, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping.
