• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets or other transport vehicles.
• Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely transport them around the facility.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and legal guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure it is in optimal condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and promote efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of previous counterbalance forklift experience preferred.
• Prior experience with overhead crane operation is a significant asset.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from the location
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and documentation purposes.
• Proven material handling experience within a manufacturing and logistics setting.
• A positive attitude and a strong desire to contribute to a successful team.
