As a Forklift Operator in Burlington, you will play a central role within the daily warehouse flow. This manufacturing & logistics environment relies on your precision and expertise to keep the supply chain moving smoothly. In this role, your primary responsibility will be operating both Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently. You will handle inventory, ensure accuracy in orders, and maintain an organized workspace. Responsibilities
• Safely and proficiently operate a Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift to move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Perform daily shipping and receiving duties, verifying incoming freight against manifests and preparing outgoing shipments.
• Conduct accurate order picking and packaging based on pick sheets, ensuring items are securely packed for transport.
• Execute sorting tasks and assist with strict inventory control protocols, including routine cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Verify, process, and organize waybills, bills of lading, and all associated paperwork for domestic and international orders.
• Complete general warehouse duties as assigned, including cleaning workstations, emptying bins, and adhering to strict health and safety standards.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of verifiable experience working as a Forklift Operator in a manufacturing & logistics or warehousing environment.
• External or internal valid certifications for both Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts.
• Demonstrated experience managing shipping and receiving procedures, order picking, and paperwork like waybills.
• Reliable transportation to the Burlington facility to ensure punctual attendance for the 8:00 AM shift start.
• Steel-toed safety boots (CSA approved) and a strong commitment to keeping a clean, hazard-free workspace.
• Ability to provide professional references validating your material handling and forklift operating skills.
