Position: Full-Time Forklift Operator
Location: Guelph, Ontario
Schedule: Full-time, days, afternoon, and night shift available
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Responsibilities
- Operate counterbalance forklifts, propane towmotors, and tuggers smoothly across high-traffic manufacturing floors, strictly adhering to site speed limits and pedestrian right-of-way rules.
- Load, unload, transport, and stage automotive parts, raw materials, and finished goods to keep assembly and production lines running without interruption.
- Perform required pre-shift vehicle checks (inspecting fluid levels, seatbelts, brakes, and hydraulics), report maintenance needs immediately, and maintain active situational awareness in busy industrial zones.
- Perform occasional manual lifting, stacking, and sorting of materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Scan, verify, and log incoming and outgoing inventory against shipping manifests or internal tracking systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of forklift experience.
- A valid external forklift operator license.
- Completion of high school education or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks.
- Strong work ethic and collaborative attitude.
