As part of the manufacturing & logistics team, you will utilize your expertise on the Order Picker forklift to manage inventory flow. Because our client operates on a national scale, clear communication is key. While the primary language of the facility is English, this Forklift Operator role may require the ability to understand technical specifications and safety manuals published in English to ensure compliance with international warehouse standards.

Rate of Pay - $23.00
Shift - Day shift 6am - 2pm OR afternoon 2:30pm to 10:30pm

Responsibilities
• Operate an Order Picker forklift safely and efficiently within a high-volume distribution center.
• Prepare and load materials in a timely manner to meet strict delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
• Perform accurate order picking and packing duties using an RF scanner to maintain inventory integrity.
• Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks on the forklift and report any maintenance issues.
• Assist with general labour tasks as assigned, including palletizing, wrapping, and organizing the warehouse floor.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe manufacturing & logistics environment.
• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Ensure all shipments are labeled correctly and ready for transport according to client specifications.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating an Order Picker forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing & logistics setting.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking and packing processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting production targets.
• Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required for general labour tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all health and safety regulations.
