Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Safely drive and maneuver forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers/cherry pickers to stack, move, and transport materials across the warehouse.
Order Fulfillment: Read pick sheets and work orders to gather, package, stage, and load products onto trailers accurately and efficiently for shipment.
Receiving & Inventory Control: Offload incoming freight, stock items into designated rack locations, and support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock rotation.
Quality & Verification: Conduct double-checks on orders, verify counts and weights against standards, and correctly label all materials for seamless tracking.
Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and secure workspace while performing routine equipment checks and following all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Equipment & Height Comfort: Real-world forklift experience is required (order picker/cherry picker experience is a major plus!). You should be comfortable working at elevated heights. No formal certification tickets required.
Warehouse Background: At least 3 months of hands-on warehouse experience operating 1 to 3 types of material handling equipment.
Physical Demands: Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs regularly (with occasional heavier lifts).
Core Skills & Environment: Able to read and follow work orders and basic instructions. Comfortable working around active warehouse machinery and varying temperatures.
