Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Safely operate Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, and Walkie forklifts to move pallets and inventory.
Inventory Management: Use RF scanners and computer systems to track product movement and ensure accurate inventory counts.
Loading/Unloading: Load finished products onto trailers and unload incoming shipments of raw produce or packaging materials.
Staging: Ensure products are staged on time for the daily production schedule and organized within the racking systems
Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-operational safety inspections on equipment and report any mechanical issues.
Qualifications
Experience: minimum 6 months of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or food production environment.
Certification: Valid forklift license/certification is preferred
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with RF scanners and basic WMS/ERP software.
Attention to Detail: Precision in stacking and pulling orders to prevent product damage.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and stand for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift.
Environment: Comfortable working in temperature-regulated environments (coolers), if required.
