Position: Forklift Training Specialist
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Shift: Afternoons or Nights (8 or 10 hour shifts)
Pay: $23.75/hr

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive training and mentoring for new forklift operators on site.
• Evaluate operator proficiency specifically on Crown reach forklift equipment.
• Lead safety orientations and ensure all "Health and Safety" protocols are strictly followed.
• Support general warehouse operations, including moving full skids and maintaining floor flow.
• Utilize Outlook and basic computer systems to track training progress and schedules.
• Use RF scanning technology to assist in inventory movement and operational accuracy.
• Provide constructive feedback to trainees to ensure high performance and retention.
• Collaborate with the Training Manager and H&S Director to refine training materials.
Qualifications
• Expert-level operation of Crown reach forklifts.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including strong eye contact and active listening.
• Ability to mentor and coach individuals with varying levels of experience.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Outlook and warehouse RF scanners.
• Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules in a high-volume environment.
• Adaptability to work in cold storage environments (2°C to 5°C).
