Responsibilities
Responsabilités (Role):
You will be responsible for training and mentoring new forklift operators joining us, ensuring they are proficient and safe in their roles. Additionally, you will assist with general warehouse operations, including moving full skids.
Familiarity with Outlook email, basic computer skills, and RF scanning is required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience operating Crown Reach forklifts.
- Certification: A valid Reach forklift certification is a strong asset. However, if you possess significant experience, an expired certification may be considered.
- Must-haves: Proven expertise operating Crown Reach forklifts, excellent communication skills (including maintaining eye contact), a supportive and positive personality with strong interpersonal skills, and experience working in fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environments.
- Good to have: A strong emphasis on Health & Safety protocols and previous experience in a training role is considered a significant asset.
- Minimum Related Experience: 3 years.
- Schedule: Initial training schedule will be Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for approximately 3-4 months. Following the training period, there will be flexibility for afternoon or night shifts. Please indicate your preference for days, afternoons, or nights in your application.
