Responsibilities
- Expertly and safely operate the Counterbalance Forklift for the high-volume transporting, stacking, and organizing of materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Efficiently process inbound and outbound shipments at the dock, including safely loading and unloading delivery trailers and containers to maintain a swift, continuous workflow.
- Precisely stage, wrap, and prepare pallet loads for shipping, ensuring optimal stability and accuracy to secure cargo integrity during transit.
- Contribute to overall operational excellence by assisting with general tasks such as maintaining organized inventory, participating in regular cycle counts, and actively ensuring a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Other duties within the warehouse as assigned.
Qualifications
- A current and valid Forklift Operator certification, with proven competence on the Counterbalance truck. (Reach certification is a plus).
- A demonstrated track record of safe, proficient forklift operation in a demanding warehouse or logistics setting.
- A commitment to diligently following all company safety policies and operational best practices.
- A history of excellent punctuality and attendance.
