Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 8PM
Salary: $23/hour

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the forklift operator position are:
• Operating an order picker forklift (class 2 on your forklift operator license)
• Manually handling products of various sizes and weights (e.g., paint kettles) for approximately 50% of the work time
• Transporting materials and equipment on pallets or in crates throughout the storage facility
• Loading and unloading materials from incoming vehicles and stacking them in designated locations
• Sort and store items according to established inventory management procedures
• Pick and pack products accurately according to purchase orders
• Ensure the workspace is kept clean at all times to maintain a healthy and organized environment
• Meet established daily productivity quotas
Qualifications
The qualifications required for the position of forklift operator are:
• Hold a valid external forklift operator license/certification (obtained from a training center)
• Six months or more of experience operating stand-up forklifts
• Have steel toe caps
• Proficiency in operating a forklift (particularly the Order Picker stand-up model)
• Fluency in spoken and written French
• Ability to read, interpret, and strictly follow purchase orders and shipping lists
• Excellent physical condition and ability to lift loads repeatedly (50% of the work)
• Rigorous, reliable, and exemplary punctuality
• Great attention to detail and precision in preparing orders
