Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger postings, month-end reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Cash Flow & Collections: Track incoming daily deposits, perform collections follow-ups on overdue accounts, and ensure smooth liquidity management.
Payroll & Benefits: Oversee time-clock systems, register new team members, and administer ongoing payroll and benefit plans.
Operational Accounting: Handle cost analysis, assist with budgeting, and align billing details with incoming sales orders.
Process Improvement: Actively identify operational gaps, update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and optimize standard office workflow.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience (manufacturing or industrial background preferred).
Technical Aptitude: Strong proficiency in Excel and general accounting/ERP systems. Experience with Adagio or Sage 300 is a major asset.
Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal English skills to liaise with vendors, customers, and internal team members.
Mindset: Proactive, organized, flexible, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a dynamic small-office environment.
