Eligible participants may receive up to $6,000 in free skills upgrading.

Designed for flexibility, the program requires minimal to no time away from work, with the duration varying depending on the region.
Responsibilities
We are seeking to support new citizens, permanent or temporary residents, and refugees who have been in Canada for less than 10 years.
We are looking for participants who have experience or education in the following trades from their home country: Lather, Carpenter, Welder, and Millwright.
Qualifications
We will require you to provide proof of the following:
- Residence in Canada for less than 10 years
- Legal entitlement to work and live in Canada
- Status as a temporary or permanent resident, Canadian citizen, or refugee
- Holding an internationally obtained post-secondary degree, diploma, or trades-related certification (such as hours verification, educational records, etc.)
- Being an internationally educated tradesperson (IET), meaning you have documentation of prior education or training completed outside of Canada.
