We are looking for MOTIVATED and HARDWORKING individuals to join a team at a construction supplies distribution facility as a GENERAL LABOURER - Assembler
Location: Hurontario/Matheson - Transit Accessible
Employment: Full-time with permanent hire upon

Days; 6:00AM - 2:30PM
(may choose to start later at 6:30AM or latest at 7:30 am but must complete 8 hours)

Salary:
$22-23/hr depends on experience

Responsibilities
Assemble components in accordance with documented work instructions and drawings. Use hand tools and basic production equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain expected production speed while meeting quality standards.
Accurately complete work orders and production documentation.
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they are free from defects and suitable for further
assembly.
Perform basic testing and sign off on completed work when required.
Report quality, safety, or equipment concerns to the Plant Manager.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
Cross-train and support other assembly and production functions as required.
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum high school
1 to 2 years of experience as an assembler in a electrical machinery assembly environment
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (infrequently)
Capable of standing and working for extended periods
Comfortable with the use of power tools and manual tools
Understand assembly drawings; reading and understanding instructions
Plus to have Forklift license and experience not necessary
