Randstad is seeking a dependable Order Picker / Forklift Operator to join a premier manufacturing and distribution facility in Oshawa. In this fast-paced night-shift role, you will safely handle, stage, and manage inventory across the floor.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and counterbalance forklifts, including working at elevated rack heights.
Select, stage, and inspect large-volume product orders for accuracy based on digital instructions.
Keep the warehouse workspace clean, organized, and fully aligned with safety standards.
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience driving material handling equipment (reach truck or cherry picker preferred).
Ease and confidence operating equipment at elevated heights.
Excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a dedication to safety.
Active forklift certification is a bonus (paid on-site training is provided).

Responsibilities
Order Picking & Staging: Review work orders, shipping manifests, and production reports to pull and place stock accurately.
Equipment Operation: Load, unload, stack, and move inventory safely using reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, clamp trucks, and other machinery.
Inventory Control: Arrange and store products in assigned bins, racks, or shelving according to SKU codes, sizes, and categories.
Order Processing: Handle picking, packing, sorting, and kitting tasks to build and finalize customer orders efficiently.
Quality & Accuracy Checks: Verify order precision, check box/packaging conditions, and ensure full compliance with internal quality guidelines and ISO 9001 standards.
Safety & Maintenance: Perform pre-shift safety checklists on machinery, maintain a clean workstation, and flag equipment maintenance issues right away.
Warehouse Support: Assist with routine cycle counts, stock rotation, physical audits, and keeping the overall facility organized.
Qualifications
Warehouse Experience: Minimum of 3 months of hands-on warehouse experience or relevant vocational training.
Height Comfort: Willingness and physical capability to operate order picking equipment at elevated rack heights.
Physical Capability: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and comfortably perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
Shift Availability: Full availability to work the required night schedule (Week 1: Sun–Wed, 5:00 PM–3:30 AM Week 2: Sun–Tue, 5:00 PM–3:30 AM).
Safety Focus: Strong commitment to occupational health and safety standards, safe equipment operation, and workplace protocols.
