In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting finished goods, executing precise product packaging, and applying shipping labels accurately. Unlike heavy industrial environments, this General Labour role involves very light work with maximum lifting requirements of only 5 lbs. Your primary focus will be maintaining quality control standards, organizing packed goods for shipment, and supporting overall daily facility workflow within the manufacturing & logistics division.

Salary: $19.00 / hour

Responsibilities
• Perform light assembly, hand packing, and packaging of lightweight products according to operational guidelines.
• Apply shipping labels, barcodes, and product identification tags neatly and accurately on completed boxes.
• Conduct routine quality checks to verify products meet visual standards prior to final boxing.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean workstation within the manufacturing & logistics facility.
• Seal, stack, and move lightweight boxes (up to 5 lbs) onto pallets or sorting staging areas.
• Communicate effectively with team lead·e·r·s and fellow general labour colleagues to maintain smooth shift handoffs.
Qualifications
• Prior experience in general labour, light packing, warehouse assembly, or retail stocking is considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive light motions throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Physical ability to lift up to 5 lbs comfortably.
• Reliable transportation to arrive on-site in Acton, Ontario for a 7:00 AM start.
• Authorization to work legally in Canada.
