Position: General Labourer
Location: Bedford, NS
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $18.80/hr

Responsibilities
• Safely lift and move boxes of confidential documents weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Accurately read labels and process incoming and outgoing orders for documents.
• Utilize a proprietary computer system to track and locate orders within the facility.
• Operate a handheld scanner to process orders and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Load and unload boxes from trucks and shrink-wrap pallets for secure transport.
• Use ladders and material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and work both independently and as a team member.
• Ensure the work environment remains clean, organized, and conducive to efficient operations.
Qualifications
• Strong physical endurance and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including heavy lifting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn proprietary computer systems and handheld scanners.
• Solid time management skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• A proactive and safety-conscious attitude.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing & logistics, or similar environment is an asset.
• Prior experience as a General Labourer or warehouse worker is considered a strong advantage.
