We are looking for an enthusiastic and safety-conscious individual to join the team of General Labourers for a reputable rebar fabricator/distributor.
What you need to know:
* Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday
* Shift Time: Afternoon Shift; 1:45 PM TO 11:45 PM
** 2 days training on day shift to start (6:00 AM - 2:15 PM)

* Wage: $26/hour ($24 + $2 shift premium)
* Location: Abbotsford, BC
* Temporary 1-2 months
* Will be working outdoors 100% of the time in all weather
Advantages
* $26/hour with overtime available

Responsibilities
* Perform general shop labour, including moving material, organizing steel stock, and keeping the workstation safe and clear
* Feeding rebar into a machine to be forged (will be trained)
* Assist with warehouse duties such as picking and pallet packing when needed
* Work closely with a team to ensure are ready or transport by deadline given
Qualifications
* Must have basic math skills to be able to calculate bar measurements
* Must be able to read a measuring tape
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
* Comfortable working outdoors 100% of the time
* Strong communication skills + a collaborative mindset
* Safety-conscious mindset
* Steel toed ankle high boots required + safety vest (if you have)
* Not short sleeved shirts, no shorts *
