Responsibilities
Morning Focus: Inventory & Accuracy
Assist with Inventory Control including cycle counting, physical inventory counts, and stocking shelves.
Maintain high attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy matches order sheets.
Promptly report discrepancies or shortages to management.
Afternoon Focus: Shipping & Receiving
Perform repetitive physical activities, including lifting and maneuvering freight. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (most boxes range from 20-30 lbs).
Unload incoming freight (e.g., electrical wire, cable, fixtures, components) from trucks.
Verify the quantity and quality of received goods against purchase orders or invoices.
Assist in building skids for truck shipments and preparing orders for direct customer shipments.
Support Quality Control to maintain the accuracy of all outgoing orders and skids.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven, recent experience in a similar warehouse/general labour role is required.
Transportation: The facility is in a remote location; reliable personal vehicle (car) is required.
Safety Gear: Must own and wear steel-toe safety shoes/boots. A safety vest and gloves will be provided by the company.
Interview: The client requires a 2nd in person interview/meeting with the talent before an offer is extended.
Inventory associate experience would be an asset
