We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to support our plant production and construction operations. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from site preparation and concrete work to routine maintenance and shipping/receiving support. You will work under the direction of the Foreman to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. This is an excellent opportunity for a physically active individual who takes pride in their work and is looking for a stable path toward a full-time career.

Responsibilities
Site Preparation & Maintenance: Set up work sites, move materials/equipment to designated locations, and perform various clean-up and housekeeping activities to maintain a safe environment.
Construction Support: Prepare construction sites, pour and spread concrete, set forms, and finish surfaces as required by project specifications.
Operational Support: Assist in plant production by receiving and shipping materials/products; participate in routine and turnaround plant maintenance projects.
Tool & Equipment Care: Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery; complete necessary records and logs for equipment maintenance.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including the consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Instructional Execution: Read and interpret work instructions and procedures; follow directions from the Foreman or General Foreman with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical Familiarity: Proven experience or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment (e.g., drills, saws, pallet jacks). Forklift experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for long periods in a physically demanding environment.
Dependability: A track record of showing up on time, following schedules, and staying focused on tasks throughout the day.
Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions, ask clarifying questions, and communicate effectively with teammates.
