Responsibilities
Material Handling & Yard Operations
Safely and efficiently load, unload, and secure truck shipments.
Cut, handle, tally, and rack pipe materials with a high degree of accuracy.
Utilize hand tools, crowbars, and specialized equipment to collar, push, pull, and tighten pipe racks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free pipe yard.
Inventory & Quality Control
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
Support inventory management by participating in routine cycle counts.
Inspect yard conditions and equipment, proactively reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
Assist the team in ensuring accurate, timely deliveries.
Safety, Physical Requirements & Equipment
Operate yard equipment safely and perform minor preventative maintenance as needed.
Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures in all daily tasks.
Comfortably perform physically demanding work (lifting, climbing, bending, reaching) in year-round outdoor weather conditions.
Participate in ongoing company training programs and handle other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of machine operation experience required; experience in a labor, pipe yard, or industrial setting is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: Mechanically inclined with a proven track record of strong problem-solving skills.
Physical & Environmental: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment; must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and repetitive labor.
Soft Skills: Highly reliable with a strong work ethic; comfortable working independently or collaborating within a team.
Logistics: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Safety: Steel-toed safety boots are required for this role.
