Responsibilities
You will be an integral part of the site team, executing heavy-duty physical work in a complex industrial environment. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Executing critical work on site vessels, including tower repairs, system revamps, and part replacements.
- Performing physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders, navigating scaffolding, and safely carrying heavy equipment.
- Working confidently outdoors, at heights, and within confined spaces.
- Maintaining a ""safety-first"" mindset, ensuring all protocols are strictly followed to protect yourself, your crew, and the site equipment.
- Other general labour duties as required.
Qualifications
Mandatory Safety Tickets (Must be valid):
-Confined Space Entry Monitor
-H2S Alive
-Fall Protection
-CSTS-2020
-Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- WHMIS 2015
- Intermediate First Aid
Site & Physical Requirements:
- Clearances: Must confidently pass a pre-access Drug and Alcohol screening.
- PPE Compliance: Must be clean-shaven daily to ensure a proper seal for respiratory equipment and masks in case of emergencies.
- Physical Fitness: Highly capable of enduring 10 to 12-hour shifts that require extended periods of standing, walking, kneeling, crawling, and repetitive motions.
- Logistics: Must have reliable personal transportation to commute to and from the Fort Saskatchewan site daily.
Experience: Previous experience working in the oil and gas industry is considered a strong asset.
