Responsibilities
-Assist delivery drivers with daily truck loading, cargo securing, and route preparation.
-Freight Handling: Load and unload shipments at various job sites and customer distribution points safely and efficiently.
-Manual Labour: Perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and sorting materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Customer Interaction & Safety: Professional interaction with site managers during deliveries while strictly adhering to workplace health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Physical Capability: Ability to comfortably perform physical labour and regularly lift up to 50 lbs throughout a 9-hour shift.
Punctuality & Reliability: Excellent attendance record and a strong work ethic to match early morning dispatch times.
Team Player: Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude when assisting drivers and site personnel.
Safety Mindset: Steel-toed safety boots (CSA-approved) are required. Prior experience in general labour, warehouse loading, or delivery assistance is an asset.
