You will be responsible for bringing brand stories to life across a variety of mediums—from traditional print catalogues and flyers to high-impact digital assets like emails, homepages, and dynamic social media content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. This is a hybrid role, our client would love for the designer to join their team in their office in Toronto 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities
• Layout Development: Conceptualize and develop accurate electronic layouts for emails, catalogues, flyers, and booklets, ensuring they meet creative guidelines and production standards.
• Collaborative Planning: Attend pick-up meetings with marketing teams to gather requirements, resolve information discrepancies, and ensure all design solutions align with business needs.
• Creative Execution: Produce finished art for new graphic elements, headings, and slugs in both English and French.
• Resource Management: Search and utilize electronic resources for archived art; collect and provide printed references and source information to Producers.
• Design Refinement: Provide layout revisions after review and ensure designs translate effectively across photography, copy, and overall production needs.
• Photography Coordination: Evaluate the reusability of existing photography for new layouts and determine the necessity for new photography sessions.
Qualifications
• Education: Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within retail or promotional advertising.
• Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma.
• Design Skills: Strong understanding of type formatting, color sense, and the principles of retail, email, and catalogue design.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex data into creative presentations and communicate ideas effectively to stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Proven ability to prioritize a heavy workload, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a calm demeanor in a demanding environment.
• Mindset: A passion for design and a willingness to go beyond expectations by finding novel solutions and building flexibility into every project.
