Responsibilities
- Manage all corporate finance matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and the raising of capital.
- Ensure the CEO is fully appraised of all financial matters across the Frantic Group and provide comprehensive management reporting.
- Negotiate financing arrangements with corporate lenders and manage ongoing relationships with the Group’s creditors.
- Prepare Board meeting agendas/minutes, maintain the shareholders' register, and manage shareholder communications.
- Review and implement best practices for accounting and banking, including harmonizing systems with newly acquired companies.
- Supervise the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements with a focus on absolute accuracy and completeness.
- Supervise the timely processing of all tax credits, grants, and other sources of non-lender financing.
- Manage income tax, GST reporting, and corporate records; provide instruction to external auditors and accountants.
- Supervise the internal accounting department, providing mentorship and advice to achieve cost efficiencies.
Qualifications
Designation: CPA designation is required.
Experience: 5–10+ years of progressive experience in public practice or industry.
Strategic Mindset: A strong proactivity and eagerness to lead high-level projects from inception to completion.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to executive leadership.
