Responsibilities
•Developing Strategies: provide subject matter expertise to assist in the recommendation of CIS Data Migration and Data Archiving Strategies.
•Data Requirements: Assist with the documentation and prioritization of critical health master data sets. Make recommendations for the minimum viable datasets for CIS migration and access to historical data post-migration.
•Data Governance and Validation: Establishing the standards, processes, and tools to ensure the quality, integrity, and accuracy of all data throughout the migration and archiving process.

Collaborate with clinical and technical stakeholders to gather input and insights for the development and refinement of data requirements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive data management documentation to support data migration and archiving plans. This will include data specifications, flow diagrams, and other relevant artifacts as required.
Develop a comprehensive plan to manage and control critical master datasets throughout the CIS implementation lifecycle.
Develop detailed roadmaps to guide the progression of data management efforts, ensuring alignment with data migration and retention requirements. Recommend specific activities and processes to effectively achieve the defined objectives.
Develop processes and methodologies for extracting and profiling key data as per business and technical requirements.
Create detailed transformation specifications by working with the CIS solution implementer, and project clinical, business and technical working groups.
Qualifications
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
•A Bachelor’s level University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Informatics, or a similar discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
•7 Years Demonstrated experience with data governance/data management and data migration activities.
•Demonstrated experience in a Data Migration role on at least one major CIS transformation or replacement project (i.e. migrating from a major Hospital system to another ).
•Demonstrated experience in data integration between legacy and new systems, data management, information lifecycle and implementing of data standards
•Demonstrated experience developing & implementing strategic approaches to managing historical data, ensuring its availability and security.
•Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders (Clinical, Health Information, Technical, and Business Units) to collect observations and insight into data and translating into design decisions and strategies
SCORED CRITERIA
•7+ years demonstrated experience in the development of comprehensive data migration plans that encompass mapping data between the source and target healthcare systems, validating data quality, ensuring its integrity, and overseeing the safe and accurate transfer of data.
•7+ years demonstrated experience developing a comprehensive plan to manage and control critical master datasets throughout the CIS implementation lifecycle. (e.g. Patient IDs, Provider IDs)
•7+ years demonstrated experience cleansing and standardizing large Healthcare specific data sets
•Demonstrated experience in Health records and Health Information Management
•3+ years demonstrated experience in Data Modeling, including design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models that represent the structure and relationships of data across the healthcare landscape.
•Demonstrated experience identifying critical datasets in a multi legacy CIS environment and providing plans to move and/or adopt new standards.
•Demonstrated superior presentation skills with the ability to present advance topics to stakeholders of all levels. Include in the response the level of stakeholders (business owner, executive level (Directors, VPs) presented to, and what types of presentations were provided.
•Verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in both French and English is strongly preferred.
