Agricultural Equipment Technician – Multiple Openings (Entry-Level to Journeyman) Saskatchewan or Manitoba

Our client—a leading supplier of agricultural equipment and after-sales service—is expanding their technician team. They’re hiring both local talent as well as mechanics and technicians from across Western Canada who are open to relocating. Candidates with diverse backgrounds in automotive, heavy-duty, or agricultural equipment are encouraged to apply to support both shop and field service operations across Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Multiple openings across Western Saskatchewan & Manitoba
Compensation: $20 to 36$ to start with a salary progression up to $55 per hour (based on experience and certification level)
Relocation Bonus: Determined on an individual basis
Schedule: 5x8,s 4x10s, and rotating shifts available, depending on branch. Plus overtime and shift premiums available
Travel: Primarily in-shop with occasional field work depending on level

Responsibilities
Your daily work will include:
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing agricultural and turf equipment
- Performing preventive maintenance, setups, and PDIs
- Reconditioning and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals, isometric drawings, and schematics
- Collaborating with service teams to support customer needs in-shop and in-field
- Documenting repair activities and time/material usage
- Following all safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized work area
Qualifications
We’re hiring across experience levels. Here's what we’re looking for:
Entry-Level
- Basic mechanical knowledge and strong interest in equipment repair
- Ability to lift 40–75 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Valid driver's license required
- Willingness to learn and enroll in Agricultural Equipment Technician apprenticeship (sponsorship available)
Intermediate
- 2–3 years experience in agricultural equipment service or a related field
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electronics
- Experience with PDI, diagnostics, and some field repair work
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Advanced
- Red Seal Agricultural Equipment Technician (or Heavy Equipment Technician with Ag experience)
- Advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and precision Ag familiarity
- Ability to mentor apprentices and support customer clinics/start-ups
- Strong productivity and labour performance record
