Responsibilities
Advanced Diagnostics: Perform expert root-cause troubleshooting on complex hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical systems using OEM software and wiring schematics.
Heavy Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections, component overhauls, and routine service on 14-to-55-ton mobile cranes and heavy commercial transport fleets.
Field Operations: Drive and operate a fully equipped company service truck to deliver top-tier field repair solutions to local client sites.
Safety First: Lead by example in daily toolbox talks, pre-task hazard assessments, and zero-harm safety procedures.
Qualifications
Red Seal / Journeyman Certification in Heavy Duty Mechanic or Commercial Transport Trucking (Motivated 3rd and 4th-year Apprentices are strongly encouraged to apply!).
Proven Technical Mastery: Exceptional diagnostic instincts with a deep command of hydraulic flow, electrical circuits, and modern diesel powertrains.
Clean Driving Record: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with an acceptable abstract (Class 1, Class 3, or MVI inspection tickets are a major plus).
Experience: CVIP experience preferred; specialized crane experience is a major asset, though strong diagnostic skills are top priority.
Tools of the Trade: Your own complete set of standard hand tools (tool guidance list provided).
