This position involves the outdoor operation of heavy machinery to manage inventory and logistics. You will be responsible for the movement of large-scale materials, primarily piping, ensuring they are safely transitioned from flat-deck trucks into the facility. This role requires a blend of skilled operating and hands-on ground work in a steady, controlled environment.
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Standard day shift)
Location: South East Calgary (Transit accessible, though reliable transportation is recommended due to the early start time)

Responsibilities
Safely operate a 20,000 lb telehandler and other heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, or dozers
Load and unload large pipes from flat-deck trucks and transport them into the production building
Exit the cab to manually set wheel chocks, hammer them in, and secure loads on trailers
Manage the flow of inventory, moving pipe in and out of the facility approximately once per hour
Maintain a slow and steady pace to ensure the safety of the crew and the integrity of the product
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
Experience with grapple attachments is a significant asset, though training is provided
Must hold a valid operator's license for at least one piece of heavy machinery (Telehandler, Loader, Excavator, or Dozer)
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks
A methodical approach to work that values precision and safety
