Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor advanced packaging equipment, including robotics, filling machines, case packers, and industrial labelers.
• Safely operate forklifts and powered pallet jacks to move heavy materials and finished goods throughout the manufacturing & logistics facility.
• Perform manual heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift to keep production lines supplied.
• Conduct routine quality checks on packaged goods to ensure they meet strict industrial standards.
• Maintain accurate production logs and equipment reports to assist the manufacturing & logistics management team.
• Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues on the packaging line to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to a 2-week rotating shift schedule, ensuring seamless handovers between day, afternoon, and night teams.
• Keep the work area clean and hazard-free, following all internal health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in a Heavy General Labour or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with operating automated machinery or robotics in a manufacturing & logistics setting.
• Valid certification or significant experience operating forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
• Physical capability to manage repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long durations.
• High level of mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new software and equipment quickly.
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work effectively during night and afternoon rotations.
