Responsibilities
- Heavy Lifting: Safely lift, stack, and move materials and products weighing up to 50 lbs throughout your shift.
- Production Support: Feed raw materials onto conveyor belts, monitor automated equipment, and safely off-bear completed products.
- Quality Assurance: Visually inspect finished goods to ensure they meet strict facility quality standards.
- Safety & Upkeep: Maintain a clutter-free work area, resolve minor machinery jams using standard lock-out tag-out procedures, and report any mechanical issues.
- Team Coordination: Read digital displays, review production goals, and communicate effectively with shift supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, walk, and continuously lift up to 50 lbs for the duration of your shift.
- Solid Communication: Clear verbal and written English skills (essential for reading digital gauges and safety manuals).
- Technical Aptitude: Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn how to operate automated machinery.
- Dependability: High school diploma (or equivalent), a clean criminal background check, and reliable daily transportation to Paris, ON.
- Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or general labour is a definite asset, but we are happy to train motivated candidates!
