The manufacturing & logistics environment at this facility is a food-grade operation, meaning cleanliness and safety are top priorities. As a Heavy General Labourer, you will be responsible for the heavy lifting required to keep the machinery fed and the production lines moving. Because this is a new site, your contributions as a Heavy General Labourer will help shape the culture and efficiency of the warehouse for years to come.

Responsibilities
• Manually emptying heavy bags of product into processing machinery to maintain continuous production flow.
• Shaking out empty bags to ensure all product is utilized and debris is removed.
• Performing regular sweeping and cleaning duties to reduce dust levels and maintain food safety standards.
• Collecting debris from the warehouse floor and emptying large garbage cans throughout the shift.
• Monitoring machinery inputs to ensure consistent processing speeds.
• Assisting with the organization of raw materials within the manufacturing & logistics facility.
• Working at heights occasionally to clean or inspect equipment as needed.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure all safety protocols are followed in a dusty industrial environment.
• Maintaining an organized workspace to ensure the safety and efficiency of all warehouse staff.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in an industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing & logistics environment.
• Proven ability to lift heavy bags (up to 50 lbs or more) for extended periods of time.
• Comfort working in a dusty environment and ability to work at heights when required.
• Demonstrated history of great attendance and reliability in previous roles.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks with high energy and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a full 8-hour shift.
• Commitment to following strict food safety and OSHA health and safety guidelines.
