⚠️ Important Note on Physical Demands: This is a very labor-intensive position that requires consistent, heavy physical labor. You must be comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting heavy objects throughout the entirety of your shift.
Location: Burnaby, BC
Pay Rate: $18.73/hour
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (9-hour shift, includes a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks)
Duration: 3-Month Contract (with strong potential for extension)

Responsibilities
Order Processing & Fulfillment: Accurately read labels, process incoming/outgoing orders, and utilize a proprietary computer system alongside handheld RF scanners to track inventory locations.
Material Handling: Load, move, and organize storage boxes, bins, and totes manually, as well as safely operating material handling aids such as hand carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
Palletization: Safely load boxes onto pallets and shrink-wrap them at ground level or on specialized carts.
Facility Navigation: Move inventory across uneven or concrete surfaces, up and down inclines, and utilize ladders to pull or store boxes in high-bay racking.
Qualifications
Exceptional Physical Capability: Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move boxes weighing between 24 lbs to 100 lbs completely without assistance for prolonged periods.
Mobility: Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, crawl, stoop, twist, and bend forward frequently throughout a 9-hour shift.
Heights Comfort: Able to safely climb and balance on warehouse ladders.
Literacy: Must be able to fluently read, write, and understand English to process order slips and track inventory.
Tech Comfort: Comfortable learning and navigating basic computer systems and scanning equipment.
