Responsibilities
Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate a variety of heavy and computer-controlled equipment, including hydraulic pumping systems and boring machines. Perform routine pre-operational checks, conduct minor repairs, and maintain equipment by cleaning and lubricating it.
Technical & Planning: Interpret and work from blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute project sequences. Understand and apply the information found on Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to ensure a safe working environment.
Leadership & Communication: Direct rig crews in setting up rigs and drilling operations. Utilize two-way radios and other communication equipment to maintain clear and constant contact with the team. Complete detailed onboard and other logs to document daily activities and project progress.
Qualifications
Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
Ground Disturbance - Level II program
Experience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience
Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
CPR Certificate
First Aid Certificate
