We are looking for an housekeeping attendant for one of Canada's leader in quick and hassle-free automotive oil changes and preventive maintenance in the Ottawa area. Given the nature of the service (oil changes and fluid replacements), cleaning is a critical function in ensuring safety and service quality.

Monday to Friday 10AM to 6PM

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the housekeeping attendant :
• Sweep, clean, and degrease work bays and service pits after each vehicle to maintain a safe environment.
• Ensure immediate cleanup of oil, grease, or other fluid spills to prevent accidents.
• Clean and organize tools and lubrication equipment to ensure their availability.
• Manage, sort, and dispose of used oil, oil filters, and other hazardous waste in accordance with strict environmental regulations.
• Empty trash cans and recycling bins in bays and common areas.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and staff break areas.
• Keep the customer waiting room, service counters, and windows clean.
• Restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels) in all designated areas.
• Assist technicians in moving heavy tires, parts, or supplies as needed.
• Perform basic exterior maintenance tasks (e.g., sweeping the entrance).
• Report any facility repair or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
• Able to lift 30 to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience in a concierge, housekeeping, general laborer, or physical work environment is an asset.
• Ability to work standing up for long periods of time.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe cleaning techniques.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices (particularly regarding chemical spills and hazardous waste disposal).
