Responsibilities
- Generating employment verification letters.
- Sending out new hire announcements and clearance emails.
- Processing all grant applications when applicable.
- Sending shipping labels to employees for the return of company items.
- Distributing offboarding notifications.
- Assisting in data cleanup in advance of an ADP upgrade.
- Organizing and maintaining HR files and databases, including reconciling ADP data with Outlook.
- Performing other duties as required to support the HR department.
Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary education in Human Resources is preferred. Achieved or working towards a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in an HR-related capacity is considered an asset.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulatory standards in Canada. Familiarity with basic employment-related legislation required for Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta provinces.
- Skills: Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft environment.
- Communication: Able to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner (both written and verbal).
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple tasks, demonstrating flexibility and strong problem-solving skills.
