Key Details:
Location: Southwestern Ontario (Local travel across local facilities)
Work Setup: 100% On-site (Monday to Friday)
Salary: $27.00 – $30.00 / hour (Based on experience)
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of HR experience

Serve as the primary, dedicated HR contact for plant leadership, managers, and employees across multiple facilities.
Gain valuable exposure to employee relations, corporate HR cycles, and organizational change during an ongoing post-acquisition integration.
While this is a 12-month maternity leave backfill, there is potential for contract-to-hire conversion based on business performance and staffing needs.
Onboarding & Core HR Operations
Manage full-cycle onboarding for new hires to ensure a seamless candidate transition.
Facilitate key corporate HR initiatives, including annual performance review cycles and employee engagement activities.
Provide operational HR support across ~5 local site buildings (and an adjacent manufacturing facility as needed).
Responsibilities
Act as the primary HR resource for frontline managers and supervisors, offering practical guidance on employee relations matters.
Partner with leadership to resolve day-to-day workplace issues while fostering a positive, inclusive work culture.
Assist in aligning legacy business unit practices with broader corporate HR policies and standards.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of progressive HR experience (Core experience in employee relations and onboarding required).
Mindset: Highly adaptable, proactive, and comfortable navigating organizational change and "going with the flow."
Communication & Presence: Exceptional relationship-building skills with a strong, collaborative approach.
Work Setup: Ability to work 100% on-site and travel locally between site locations.
Asset: Prior experience in manufacturing, multi-site environments, or supporting acquired companies through transitional growth is a strong plus.
