Responsibilities
Process biweekly pay cycles accurately while maintaining compliance with local employment standards and tax regulations.
Prepare and post payroll journal entries into the ERP system, complete monthly reconciliations, and support audit requirements.
Administer employee benefit programs, manage new enrollments and changes, and liaise directly with benefit providers to resolve issues.
Maintain accurate payroll records and handle confidential compensation data with complete discretion.

HR Operations & Employee Engagement
Act as an accessible, proactive HR partner to foster positive workplace relationships and drive employee engagement initiatives.
Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, compensation, and benefits.
Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS to ensure high data integrity.
Draft, propose, document, and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures and internal HR policies.
Prepare regular HR and payroll reports and assist with continuous process improvement projects.
Qualifications
Payroll Background: Minimum 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, including ERP journal entries, reconciliations, and compliance.
HR Expertise: Proven track record in full-cycle recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and employee relations.
Technical Aptitude: Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, ERP software, and MS Office.
Education & Credentials: Post-secondary diploma/degree in HR, Business Administration, or Accounting; HR certifications (e.g., CPHR, CHRP) or Payroll designations (e.g., PCP) are considered strong assets.
