Responsibilities
Lifecycle Management: Administer core HR programs including compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, and talent management.
Advisory & Support: Provide guidance to management and staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive HR questions and issues arise.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate new hire orientations, ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed, and conduct exit interviews.
Compliance & Policy: Maintain compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment laws, assisting with policy updates as needed.
Data Integrity: Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource information system (HRIS) records and compile regular reports.
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Experience: Minimum of three years of broad, hands-on HR experience in a corporate or fast-paced environment.
Legislative Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of the Employment Standards Act (ESA), human rights legislation, and HR best practices.
Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to manage HRIS/ATS platforms and standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
