HR Manager

• Strategically plan workforce requirements, including succession planning, in alignment with organizational budgets and future needs 

• Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring effective onboarding and consistent follow-up to support employee integration and retention 

• Lead labor relations in a unionized environment, fostering constructive dialogue and ensuring compliance with collective agreements 

• Champion organizational development by leading HR projects, optimizing HR processes, supporting change management efforts, and driving continuous improvement across policies, compensation, and strategic initiatives 

• Manage performance and talent development by establishing training plans, guiding employee growth, and coaching supervisors on goal setting, compensation, performance reviews, and skill development 

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations, while providing support to managers to uphold best practices and a safe, inclusive workplace

You too, put forward your strengths:  

• 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or unionized environment 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for analyzing reports, budgets, and KPIs 

• Strong time and priority management skills; capable of handling multiple responsibilities effectively 

• Collaborative, curious, and outgoing; thrives in fast-paced, hands-on work environments 

• Skilled in handling disciplinary matters with professionalism and discretion 

• Experience with SAP and HRIS platforms is an asset 

• SHRM certification and background in labor relations are considered assets
