Responsibilities
Department Creation & Infrastructure
Build the Foundation: Standardize the employee handbook, design onboarding processes, and establish core HR policies tailored to a manufacturing environment.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Own the Pipeline: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for both skilled trade roles and corporate positions.
Welcome & Retain: Create an engaging onboarding experience that emphasizes safety, company values, and role expectations.
Employee Relations & Culture
Floor Presence: Maintain a strong visibility on the shop floor, building trust and open communication with both shift workers and leadership.
Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, conducting fair and thorough investigations when necessary.
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with preference for those from manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
The "Builder" Mindset: Proven experience setting up processes, templates, or programs where none existed before.
Communication Style: Able to communicate effectively with everyone from an entry-level assembly worker to the executive suite.
On-Site Presence: High energy and comfort working in a bustling, fast-paced manufacturing office environment five days a week.
