Key responsibilities for this role include:
Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
Identifying and prospecting new business opportunities within the industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.
Building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including engineers, contractors, and project managers.
Conducting thorough needs assessments to understand client technical requirements and pain points.
Delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to technical audiences.
Preparing and presenting detailed proposals, negotiating terms, and closing sales effectively.
Collaborating internally with technical support and customer service teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using the company's CRM system.
Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
A technical degree or diploma in engineering, a related technical discipline, or a relevant trades background is required.
Proven experience (2+ years) in a B2B sales role, ideally within a technical field or selling to the construction/industrial sectors.
Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex technical product features and benefits.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with technical professionals.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently to manage a sales territory.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel within the assigned territory.
