Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical, automation, and control systems across multiple production lines.
Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns and production issues to reduce downtime.
Diagnose and repair issues involving motors, drives, PLC (Allen Brad/Siemens) I/O, sensors, relays, power distribution, HMIs, and safety devices.
Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, control panels, conduit, and industrial power systems.
Assist in root-cause analysis for continuous improvement and reliability projects.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC documentation, and control drawings.
Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and modifications.
Perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with ESA and internal safety standards.
Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation through CMMS.
Collaborate with Millwrights and operators to troubleshoot electromechanical issues on high-speed equipment.
Qualifications
Valid 442A Industrial Electrician or 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician license with industrial/manufacturing experience
3+ years electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing, packaging, plastics, printing, or other automated industrial environments
Strong troubleshooting skills with PLC-controlled systems and automation
Experience with sensors, relays, drives, motors, and low-voltage control systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
Strong understanding of ESA, OHSA, and industrial safety standards
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently on day shift
