The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, excels at complex electrical troubleshooting, and brings strong expertise in high-volume production machinery. Working the graveyard shift, you will diagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal facility operations.
Position: Industrial Electrician
Location: Delta, BC
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Position
Pay Rate: $42.00 – $45.00/hour + $1.50/hour night shift premium
Schedule & Shift: Sunday to Thursday 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Graveyard)
Eligibility:
Red Seal Electrician Certification required
Ticketed Electrician with 3–5 years of solid industrial maintenance experience (food and beverage manufacturing background is strongly preferred)
You are currently located in and legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
Work with motors, pumps, conveyors, lighting systems, and control devices
Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
Support installation, alignment, and maintenance of production equipment
Diagnose and repair breakdowns to minimize production downtime
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and equipment calibration
Work with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
Complete maintenance reports and work orders using CMMS
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to resolve issues
Adhere to safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, SQF)
Qualifications
Red Seal Electrician Certification required
3–5 years of industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
Practical experience with industrial controls (Allen Bradley, Siemens PLCs, VFDs, HMIs)
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PLC logic
Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Comfortable working independently and under pressure to support production uptime
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS systems)
Strong communication, teamwork, and safety-focused mindset
