-Hourly Rate: $42.40/hour.
-Shift: Primarily Day Shift (with potential for 1/3 week afternoon rotation).

-Time Off: 2 weeks vacation (CBA) plus 4 Holiday Float days typically used during the Christmas shutdown.
Responsibilities
-Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair breakdowns on aging but robust machinery, including relays, switches, gearboxes, circuit panels, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
-Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute weekly PM schedules (50% of the role) to ensure minimal downtime in a 24/5 production environment.
-Mechanical Support: Perform heavy mechanical work, acting effectively as a Millwright when required (gearbox changes, conveyor repairs, etc.).
-Electrical Systems: Maintain and troubleshoot 480V systems, DC motors, and overhead cranes.
-PLC/HMI Support: Troubleshooting via Ladder Logic on Allen Bradley and Siemens systems (Panelview HMIs).
-Facility Upkeep: Assist with general building maintenance including lighting and basic plumbing.
Qualifications
-Licensing: Valid 442A or 309A Electrician License is mandatory.
-Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a Heavy Industrial environment (Steel, Mining, or heavy manufacturing preferred).
-Mechanical Aptitude: You must be highly mechanically inclined and willing to perform mechanical repairs daily.
-Technical Skills: * Strong troubleshooting skills in DC voltage.
-Ability to read/interpret older electrical diagrams and blueprints.
-Experience with Overhead Crane maintenance is a significant asset.
-Basic welding skills (Stick/Spot welding) are a plus.
