Advantages
Shift - Continental Days
Pay - $42-$45 per hour depending on experience
Location - Mississauga, ON

Vacation - 2 weeks
Responsibilities
1) Maintain and Repair Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in automated baking lines, ovens, conveyors, mixers, and packaging systems.
2) Install and Upgrade Systems: Install new electrical components, panels, wiring, and control systems as the facility expands or upgrades technology.
3) PLC & Automation Work: Program, monitor, and adjust PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) that control the production process.
4) Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely.
5) Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work meets electrical codes, food safety standards, and company safety protocols.
6) Downtime Response: Quickly respond to equipment failures to minimize production downtime, especially during critical baking and packaging operations.
7) Documentation: Keep accurate records of repairs, inspections, and modifications for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications
- 442A Industrial Electrician
- 3-5 Years experience in a manufacturing environment , preferably food
- Electrical maintenance, troubleshooting & repair skills
- Ability to diagnose issues under pressure, communicate clearly with production teams, and document repairs
- Experience in a facility with automated machinery is a plus!
- Familiarity with food industry regulations (like GMPs, HACCP, or SQF) and working in sanitary environments is a big plus!
