Responsibilities
-Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical automotive assembly equipment.
-Support automated assembly lines, robotic cells, and conveyor systems to ensure zero downtime for critical customer shipments.
-Perform mechanical repairs, equipment overhauls, and preventative maintenance alongside electrical duties.
-Diagnose PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), vision systems, sensors, and industrial networks.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives in a lean, safety-focused automotive environment.
Qualifications
-Certification: Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician (442A) or Construction & Maintenance Electrician (309A).
-Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or automotive assembly plant.
-Skill Set: Strong balance of advanced electrical diagnostics and practical mechanical aptitude.
