This is a prime opportunity for a Licensed Electrician with a 442A or 309A to play a critical role in the maintenance and operational integrity of a major port terminal.
The ideal Industrial Electrician will be a proficient electrician capable of executing maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on a wide array of electrical equipment and automation systems.

Responsibilities
-Maintaining and enhancing the electrical infrastructure of a bustling port terminal.
-Performing diagnostic tests, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical systems.
-This role requires a hands-on approach to the installation of new electrical components and the meticulous maintenance of existing ones.
-Automation systems and (PLCs) that govern the terminal's operations.
-Servicing and repairing equipment such as conveyors, bucket elevators, and dust collection systems. You will be responsible for
-Documenting all work performed in a computerized work order system
-Adherence to strict safety protocols, including Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures,
-Collaborate with a diverse team, including millwrights and other maintenance staff
Qualifications
-Must hold a valid Industrial Electrician certification (442A) or a Construction and Maintenance Electrician license (309A).
-Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an industrial setting is required.
-Demonstrate a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and control circuits.
-Proven track record of adhering to safety protocols, particularly Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures, is essential. and adapt to various working conditions.
-The role may require working in confined spaces or at heights, so a strong commitment to safety is paramount.
